Meyo Invitational

This is a week late, but better late than never! The Meyo Invitational hosted by Notre Dame saw numerous PRs, BIG EAST qualifiers, top-10 all-time marks and 2 near misses at school records. Check out the GoMarquette.com recaps for the Meyo Invitational here.

Here are some highlights and the accompanying pictures….

Sophomore Tyler O'Brien showed that he is returning to form running 22.19 in the 200m after missing several weeks with an injury earlier in the season.


Senior Nick Van Deraa narrowly missed the school record in the pole vault (15-7.75) - jumping 15-5.75. Nick finished the day with a 48.1 carry as the 3rd leg on the 4x400m relay.

Sophomore Olivia Johnson ran a PR 2:56.25 in the 1000m placing her #6 on the all-time list and qualifying her for the BIG EAST meet.


Senior Mark Kopecki ran a PR 4:13.51 in the Mile.


Sophomore Nick Byom jumped 6-6.75 in the High Jump.


Sophomore Laurie Dalrymple ran a PR 17:35.04 in the 5000m to earn her first BIG EAST qualifier.



Senior Tom Cassady ran a PR 36.75 in the 300m.


Senior Kyle Saginus ran a PR 14:48.43 in the 5000m which places him #8 on the all-time list.


Junior Katlin Millin ran 1:16.97 in the 500m to qualify for the BIG EAST meet.


Junior Jayne Grebinski ran 9:57.02 in the 3000m to qualify for the BIG EAST meet.

Junior Anna Weber qualified for the BIG EAST meet in the 5000m with a PR time of 17:34.29.


Junior Amanda Beggs ran a PR in the 5000m of 17:48.83

Sophomore Alyssa Davis jumped to a big PR of 38-10.25 to make her #3 on the all-time list.
